Sarawak still BN territory....but.....

Hey Folks, Back to the world of blogging... Yes...just love to share my 2 cents worth of view of the recently concluded 10th State Election of the wonderful state called Sarawak. The result is out and the winner is BN..... Yes again, the people of Sarawak must have given a long thot of the which party deserve to take the state of Sarawak to another height... No doubt BN got the 2/3 and majority, but despite the Opposition (Pakatan Rakyat) couldn't deny BN the 2/3 majority, hey they too deserve credit for making some major wins and among Pakatan Rakyat....DAP is the winner....they showed that they are one of the force to reckon with and evidence was that one of the major casaulties was Tan Sri Dr. George, a veteran BN politician and was Deputy Chief Minister...finally had to accept the bitter pill of defeat in losing his state seat. The clear loser in the Opposition pact of Pakatan Rakyat; PKR and PAS...... PKR fielded the most seats in this election which was around 49, but they only could get 3 seats...and how about PAS, they were just dreaming and ended losing all 5 seats that they have contested. Not surprisingly of course, PKR de facto leader, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim would make claims that the election was rigged and that BN was behind the so-called vote buying theory, but wait a second think again. Look at DAP, they fielded 15 candidates in this election and won 12 seats and that surely got nothing to do with vote rigging and etc, etc. It is basically called the power of Democracy. With DAP gaining more seats, it is surely a clear message to BN that the battle they may have lost, but the war continues. If BN wants to win in the next 13th General Election; one thing for sure with all due respect, Tan Sri Taib Mahmud must gradually fade away from the political scene and pass the baton to his so called successor. He is just lucky that BN won especially with the help of PM Najib and DPM Muhyiddin had to come down and play 'turun padang' to get more votes. At one point of time during the election; it looks like both Najib and Muhyiddin were campaigning hard to become the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister respectively! Nevertheless; that is life and yes life in Sarawak can be back to normal, but the message is clear for BN, despite the victory, Sarawak is not anymore that so called 'homefield advantage'. BN must prove that the promises they have kept will be implemented fast and yes Tan Sri Taib Mahmud must make way for his new 'man' to take over or otherwise the 13th General Election which is for Sarawak is the parlimentary seats won't be that easy for BN to sustain or gain. As for Pakatan Rakyat; yes they can pretend and 'acting' in the political theater that they have gain; but in reality they failed to live up to the so called 'political tsunami' of 2008. Winner is DAP, but the losers are PKR and PAS. Anwar Ibrahim, think again, are you really worth the Opposition Leader that the Country still needs to hold on to? Political rhetorics of yours is not enough. Probably be a Gentleman and walk away nicely from the political scene and let the younger generation to do their part. Yes, you may have open the doors for a lot of younger generations to become future politicians and leaders; but time for you to pass the baton as well. For PAS; if it was Kelantan, Terengganu, Kedah, Perlis; yes you put in your candidates all over, but Sarawak is just not your playing field. Think again; the 2006 state election, you lost...and now this....totally out.... what are you thinking. Soul searching and even reconsider not to participate in the 13th General Election for the parlimentary seats for Sarawak. The others like SNAP and Parti Cinta Malaysia; total losers; not even a single seat won by them. They ought to go back to the drawing board and ask themselves; shud they continue their so called political ambition and struggle. Frankly, their loses didn't reflect that they are the new so-called opposition force. By the way Bravo to the sole Independent candidate who won....at least he managed to win and faced all sort of hurdles and obstacles. For PM Najib, yes it is a clear message that 'majority' of Sarawakians are behind him and his mandate, but the people is hungry for transformation and more political and economic change. There is still lots of work to be done before the next General Election. Tan Sri Taib, if u are reading this; yes you are the man who took the state to greater heights, but now you must make way for your successor to take over. No doubt that for Sarawakians you have created such an impact and make Sarawak to become one of the developed states in Malaysia, but you really need to step down by this year. The people of Sarawak today is no longer like yesterday, they are intelligent and can think rationally of the future. Wokay; that is my 2 cents worth of thots.... Cheerios!

"I wonder....wa wa wa I wonder....why...why why..."

Hey Folks! Back again to the world of blog. Gosh it has been a long time haven't done the blogging for a while. Well, totally blame it on human factor....pure procrastination! ha ha ha Anyway, such a sigh of relief....finally back on track and hope to write more after this... Japanese Earthquake Yesterday marked a month after one of the most terrible and catastrophic tragedies since the Acheh Tsunami ever occurred in the history of mankind. The Japan earthquake and tsunami tragedy was totally another example of mother's nature 'fist of fury'. However, you just got to salute the Japanese for being brave, patience, perseverance throughout the whole duration of the aftermath. They are really very organize and all out to help one another. It will take time to heal the wound, but Japan will rise again and become lot stronger than ever. Only time will tell. Sarawak Election 2011 Yes, politics in Malaysia and attention is now for the state election of Sarawak. Is this election going to be a win for PM Najib or possibly the 'Borneo political tsunami'? If you are from Sarawak and a registered voter, vote wisely for the future. Frankly, when we vote, it really make a difference because it is a powerful tool that can either maintain or dislodge the so-called party or leader. This coming 16 April, it is surely a must watch event. Who will win? Not good at guessing this one, but it will be the hands of the 900,000 plus voters to determine the path and destiny of Sarawak. If BN wins, then surely it will be positive signs for PM Najib to think of the up and coming 13th General Election, but if BN lose, then it will be back to the war room and figure out what went wrong. F1 renewal It was stated in yesterday's papers that the Cabinet will determine as to whether to renew or not for the extension of the F1 GP event in our very own Sepang. Well, since 1999 until today, the F1 does attract thousands of both local and international fans to come down and enjoy the exciting race especially with our well known hot and humid beautiful infamous weather. My opinion, looking at both the economic of scale and of course from tourism/event management, we should continue with the F1 and remember because it is Malaysia the first country in Asia that hosted the F1 then followed by China, Singapore, and other Asian countries. There is no turning back, thanks to F1 people know where Malaysia is and no longer think that we are some country near Singapore or close to Thailand or something like that. Of course for F1 to remain competitive, we've got to market it more aggresively to the world in order to sustain and uphold this prestigious event. Hikayat Merong Mahawangsa I did watched the movie and for a start it is a good beginning for the local film industry and bravo to KRU for going all out. Of course, there are things to improve in this movie, but hey for the next one I'm sure we can do even better. Part of the national heritage awareness, the Malaysian Film producers and directors should strongly consider producing movies that signify the importance of our rich heritage especially to our younger generations. Perhaps we should consider do the remake of 'Hang Tuah' or something similar to it. Cheerios!
