Register as a VOTER.....Malaysia General Election can be this year or next year...

Hey folks,

Back to the world of blogging....yes April is here....it is the 5th day of April and imagine with all the hoo haa about election after Chinese Year or in March.......yup it is still not in sight...

Again, it is the prerogative and pleasure of PM Najib to make the call.  He will surely know when is the election going to be.

Lately, the Parlimentary Select Committee (PSC) has came out with 22 recommendations for the Election Commission (EC) to improve and target in order for the reform of the election process to take place.

In my opinion, it is a positive move and way forward for Malaysia to go greater heights especially in tackling and resolving the so-called controversial and everybody's or politicians favorite punching bag that is reforming of the EC and electoral process.

No doubt every citizens from the 'great political divide' can say so much about the electoral system of this beloved country, but again it the citizen 'voting' power' which will be the final determination which party will be in-charge of the country.

If you have yet to register to become a registered voter, better do it NOW than never.  Just imagine even 1 small vote by you will make or trigger an impact to the country.  Always remember that when election is coming near, the politicians (be it government or opposition) will be 'beggars' and crying for your votes.  Of course with the begging will come with so many promises of change and betterment and blah blah blah....  Surely we will always go through with this cycle and it is not our Malaysia alone, but worldwide.    I mean just watch the US Republican Primary and as usual the candidates are rambling on and on about what they can do for the future of America.

To register as a voter, you may check out the Election Commission website which http://www.spr.gov.my/ .

As expected, Bersih is not happy about the overall outcome of the PSC recommendations on the reforms and planning to stage 'BERSIH 3.0', but this time around a 'sit-in' protest.

Personally, it is good that the citizens to express one's displeasure over anything, but is it really necessary to have another demo?  I think with the inflation and instability of the global economy, let us just take a break from any demonstration for now.  Feeling angry yes go ahead, but do that when the General Election is happening soon (whenever that will be) and vote against the current government in power (Barisan Nasional).  That is the purpose of election anyway, it is a change of power in the most peaceful and organized fashion that mankind can endure!
Again, who am I to advise, I am just a 'Malaysian Dude' trying to survive in this crazy and extraordinary jungle!

Cheerios!
